Gwadar sit-in continues, army patrols in Balochistan secretly – Speakers’ Speech

The sit-in of Gwadar Haq Do Tehreek in support of their demands in the coastal city of Gwadar in Balochistan continued for the tenth day.

In the busiest part of the city, large numbers of people spend the night in tents.

Today, once again, the third round of talks between the government delegation and the sit-in organizers failed.

The negotiating committee consisted of BAP Central President, Provincial Minister for Planning and Development Zahoor Baledi, Provincial Advisor PHE Lala Rashid, DPO Gwadar Tariq Elahi Mastoi who handed over a notification to Maulvi Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch stating that their demands Have been recognized and will be implemented soon.

According to the notification, FC’s intervention from the border will be removed and handed over to the district administration. Fisheries MS and district administration will take action against the trawling. The licenses of the three bars in Gwadar city will be revoked.

On this occasion, Maulvi Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch said that the sit-in will continue for three more days till they are implemented.

He said that the decision to block yesterday’s expressway and coastal highway was withdrawn, adding that if they were not implemented within three days, the sit-in would continue.

He said that after the sit-in, a sit-in would be called for the recovery of missing persons.

He said that the army is secretly guarding Balochistan and they are in control of all our valuables.

People continue to arrive in the sit-in.
