According to Hale Vash report, this morning on May 19, 2023, a Baloch citizen who was injured by unknown gunmen in Shirabad-Zahedan area died after being taken to the hospital.
The identity of this citizen “Rashid Kashani” from Zahedan and a resident of Shirabad region has been verified.
According to current sources, “Rashid, who was on leave from prison, was shot five times by unknown gunmen last Thursday evening in Shirabad district and died after being transferred to Khatam Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.”
It should be noted that Rashid Kashani is a close relative of Hossein Kashani, one of the detainees of the Zahedan protests.
According to the annual report of Hale Vash in 2022, 243 Baloch citizens were killed by direct fire by military forces and unknown armed persons who are affiliated with military apparatuses.
