Ill-treatment of families of enforced disappearances is a violation of civil rights – Baloch Women's Forum (Samraj)

Mahrooz Baloch is just like any other little girl, full of energy and dreams for the future. However, her life has been turned upside down due to the Pakistani state’s barbarism. 23 months ago, her father, Abdul Hameed Zehri, was taken away from their home by Pakistani secret agencies and has not been seen since. For Mahrooz, the absence of her father has been devastating. She misses him dearly and often wonders when she will see him again. She yearns for the love and guidance that only a father can provide, but despite the pain and hardship she has endured, Mahrooz remains hopeful. She dreams of the day when she will be reunited with her father and their family will be whole again.
