QUETTA – Seven people including a doctor, two women and an FC official were killed in firing incidents in different towns of Balochistan on Saturday.
Unidentified armed assailants opened indiscriminate fire at a private clinic at Dera Murad Jamali Pattak Road in Naseerabad district. Consequently, four people including two women and a doctor died on the spot. The assailants fled the area after committing the crime. Police moved the dead bodies to hospital for autopsy where they were identified as Dr Nazar, Niazullah, Janat Bibi and Zar Bibi. Police handed over the bodies to heirs after completing legal formalities.
A police official told this ascribe on phone that it was a case of “honour killing” and police, after registering a case, had arrested four accused and recovered arms from their possession. In another incident, unknown people shot dead an official of Frontier Constabulary (FC) in Kech district. Sources said Muhammad Akram Baloch, accountant by professional in FC and resident of Tump area of Kech district, was on vacations and unidentified people shot him dead at his home for unknown reasons.
In another incident, two people were killed in Tali area of Sibi district. Levies force officials said that Panul Khan and Muhammad Akbar were on their way when armed attackers sprayed bullets on them and escaped from the site after committing the crime. Levies sources said that it could be case of enmity, however, investigations were underway and search was on to arrest the accused persons.
